Research
Since I’ve only just started my work here at the University of Oregon, I haven’t really started on any big research projects yet. I did want a space on the web to discuss/post parts of it when I get to it though, so I’ll keep this page around for now. Below is a pdf of my Honors Thesis for the Math department at Virginia Tech. The paper, along with a presentation to the faculty, was the culmination of my three semesters of work with Dr. Linnell studying ultraproducts of finite groups and group rings.
I’ve also got a short paper that I put together for my algebra course fall term on the subject of One-Group numbers, that is numbers n with only one group up to isomorphism of order n.
